Founded in 1996, Taikang Insurance Group is currently one of China’s largest insurance and financial services institutions. Taikang is based in Beijing and operates in three main business sectors: insurance, asset management, and health and elderly care.

Taikang has a number of subsidiaries including Taikang Life, Taikang Asset, Taikang Pension, Taikang Community, Taikang Health and Tk.cn. It provides a range of services includinglife and health insurance, online property & casualty insurance, enterprise annuity, asset management, health and elderly care, health management, and commercial real estate. As of December 2021, the Group' s asset under management is over RMB 2.7 trillion. Over the past 26 years, Taikang has also served more than 4.2 million individuals and 420,000 companies, paying a total of RMB 100 billion in claims and RMB 75 billion in taxes (tax payment data is due to the end of June 2022). For 5 consecutive years, Taikang has ranked among Fortune Global 500 Companies.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Taikang Insurance Group is also committed to public service and corporate social responsibility, with a specific focus in education and academia. Taikang systematically donates to primary, secondary and higher education, as well as the China Prize for Innovation in Economic Theories. Taikang also patronizes and supports contemporary art in China through the non-profit institution Taikang Space and has launched the“Yicai Charity Program”to support public nursing homes and bring happier lives to more elders.
